Doni Wilson, Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Doni Wilson graduated from Bastyr University in year 2000 with a doctor in naturopathic medicine degree and a certificate in midwifery. She fulfilled a residency in general naturopathic medicine at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Wash., and was awarded for her contributions. She also served as adjunct faculty member for Bastyr University and went on to complete a women’s health-focused internship with Tori Hudson, ND. Dr. Wilson holds bachelor’s degrees in both nutrition and general science from Oregon State University.
Dr. Wilson currently serves as president of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NYANP) and has held that position since April 2003. Her leadership and collaborative efforts there have served an instrumental role in positioning the ND licensure bill for passage with the state legislature, potentially soon gaining licensure for NDs in the cornerstone state of New York. Dr. Wilson was awarded the NYANP Naturopathic Physician of the Year award in 2004. In addition, Dr. Wilson is a past board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
Specializing in women’s and children’s health, Dr. Wilson practices naturopathic medicine in Greenwich, Conn., as well as in New York City. Dr. Wilson is a certified professional midwife (CPM) and a certified doula. Dr. Wilson speaks regularly at public and professional events.
She lives in Orange County, NY, with her husband and daughter.
