Gannady Raskin, Medical Doctor, Naturopathic Doctor 

Gannady Raskin, MD, ND, is an alumnus of Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Canada. He has been in the medical profession since 1980, when he received his MD and began his practice in the Ukraine. Dr. Raskin has been involved in naturopathic medical education since 1999 and currently holds the position of dean of the school of naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University, where he is involved in all aspects of naturopathic medical education, including academics and clinical training.

Dr. Raskin’s previous experience includes three years as chief naturopathic medical officer and dean of clinical education at CCNM, where he was instrumental in overhauling clinic operations and helped transform the teaching clinic into a state-of-the-art naturopathic medical teaching establishment. He has a broad medical background in both clinical and managerial roles at several other large medical establishments.

At Bastyr, Dr. Raskin is enthusiastic about the opportunity to help streamline operations and recruit the best faculty members. As he states, “The quality of the Bastyr program is very well-known. I don’t know if I can improve it, but I’ll do whatever is possible to make the program shine.”
