Mark Carney, ND, LAc, is a dually licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist with a busy family practice, Your Healing Place, in Denver, Colo. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and the International Institute of Chinese Medicine. He also completed a family medicine residency at National College of Natural Medicine.

Dr. Carney is a medical editor and serves on the board for the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examination, is a member of American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and is also a member of Colorado Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He is a popular speaker and regularly gives lectures at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, local corporations, and many community venues.

Dr. Carney is the author of two upcoming books, Common Sense Medicine, and A Faster’s Companion. Dr. Carney specializes in women's health, pediatrics and men's health, and is an expert in herbal medicine and nutrition. His hobbies include hiking and jogging, playing piano and cooking gourmet vegetarian cuisine. Dr. Carney resides in his native city of Denver with his wife, Carly Letzt Carney, DC. Together, they offer transformational business coaching programs exclusively for naturopathic physicians via their company, Practice Protégé.
