Marnie Loomis, Naturopathic Doctor

Marnie Loomis, NDMarnie Loomis, ND, is the director of professional formation and career services at National College of Natural Medicine. In this role, Dr. Loomis is responsible for a variety of tasks: helping to expand placement opportunities for graduates; increasing the professionalism skills of students; increasing the visibility of naturopathic medicine and classical Chinese medicine within the greater health care profession; recruiting students; and developing a business resource center for students and alumni.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social science and public policy at Michigan State University, Dr. Loomis earned her ND degree from NCNM. After graduation, she spent seven years in private practice in Aloha, Ore. Dr. Loomis is a published writer and popular public speaker who appears on local TV news programs and in front of professional and public audiences throughout the country, speaking on behalf of NCNM and the naturopathic medical profession. She continues to write and publish articles about patient care and is completing her first book.
