Marnie Loomis, Naturopathic Doctor
Marnie Loomis, ND, learned about the naturopathic profession while in college, and found it to be the perfect fit for her strong desire to understand the human psyche, the human body and the complexities of how human health interacts with the natural world. She is the director of continuing education and alumni affairs at National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM). In addition, she teaches nutrition and researches nutrition’s impact on health.
Dr. Loomis has a strong interest in writing and is currently working on several books that focus on treatment protocols for highly sensitive patients. She has also published several articles and has worked for the Naturopathic Doctor News and Review, a leading naturopathic industry newspaper, as well as for Lao Tse Press, dedicated to publishing books about process-oriented psychology. She maintains a busy practice in Aloha, Ore., where she sees a variety of patients, focusing on gastrointestinal disorders, women’s cancer screenings and meeting the specific health care needs of highly sensitive people.
