Maurice Werness, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Werness is a naturopathic physician with a four-year naturopathic medical degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Wash. Dr. Werness practices naturopathic medicine at Werness Wellness, an integrated practice with a Cranialsacral/Feldenkrais practitioner and a body centering yoga therapist also on staff. Together, they offer a complete naturopathic medical practice – an opportunity to bring awareness to the mental, physical and emotional components of health. Drawing on a deep knowledge of biochemistry, herbal medicine and nutrition, Dr. Werness works closely with each client to create the optimal conditions for wellness.

Dr. Werness is the co-author of four books on natural healing, all in current circulation and published by Dell. He was the originator and host of a television series entitled "Natural Healing" and was co-host of a live radio program called "A Natural Approach." Dr. Werness has worked as a guest instructor at Duke University, University of North Carolina and Wake Forest University, among others. He also speaks and teaches workshops and seminars on various health topics.
