Sally LaMont, ND, LAc, is licensed in California as both a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist. Dr. LaMont graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Ore., and Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Monica, Calif. After practicing for 18 years, she is now associate professor at San Francisco State University in the Department of Health Education’s Institute for Holistic Healing Studies.

Dr. LaMont has served on the board of directors of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA) for five years, leading the successful campaign to license naturopathic doctors in California in 2003. She blends the science of naturopathic medicine with the ancient wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine, bringing them both to life in her work as a doctor, educator and natural foods cooking instructor. Dr. LaMont has a private practice in San Rafael, Calif.
