Stacey Austin, Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Stacey Austin naturopathic physician in San Antonio, Texas, and former speaker for the AANMC, lost her long and courageous battle with brain cancer on August 19, 2011. Her practice included lifestyle changes, nutrition, hydrotherapy, botanical medicine, homeopathy and yoga.
Dr. Austin collaborated with her father in integrating naturopathic medicine for patients with diabetes, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, auto-immune diseases, cardiovascular disease and many other chronic and acute conditions. She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Ariz.
Dr. Austin was a native Texan raised in San Antonio and attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She then went on to graduate school at Columbia University in New York City and worked for 17 years as an occupational therapist.
