Wendy Weber, Naturopathic Doctor

Doctor Wendy Weber, NDWendy Weber, ND, PhD, MPH, is a former research associate professor at Bastyr University and supervised the ADHD wellness clinic at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She is currently the first naturopathic doctor to serve as a program officer in the National Institutes of Health National (NIH) Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). Dr. Weber’s research includes the study of herbal treatments for the common cold and ADHD. She has authored several articles related to her research, specifically regarding echinacea’s effects on upper respiratory tract infections in children, naturopathic treatment of children, and neuropsychological functions in ADHD. Her articles have appeared in journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association, the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, and the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Weber earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Washington and is currently a PhD candidate in their epidemiology program. Her ND degree is from Bastyr University, and she holds BAs in psychology and neuroscience and behavior from Wesleyan University. Dr. Weber is a member of the AANP and is the convention research committee co-chair. She is also a member of the International Society of Complementary Medicine Researchers (ISCMR) and a member of the Integrative Pediatrics Council.
