Andrew Krause, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2014

ND Student Andrew KrauseAndrew Krause is a third-year student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). After completing his undergraduate degree in health sciences at the University of Ottawa, he furthered his studies in personal training and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate.

Andrew is an active member of the CCNM community. As a second-year student he served as vice president of external communications for the Naturopathic Students Society (NSS) and worked to connect CCNM with the neighboring chiropractic and medical schools in Toronto. In 2012 he was elected NSS president.

Andrew's passions include food and nutrition, athletic performance and ergogenic aids for training and competition. He aims to use the full breadth of modalities in his future practice and has a deep appreciation for the teachings of traditional Chinese medicine.
