Ellen Mina Lewis, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2011
Ellen Mina Lewis is a fourth-year student at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Ore.
Ellen received an undergraduate degree from Boston University in 2003 and went to work as an athletic trainer. Her focus was on injury prevention and rehabilitation in collegiate athletes. From there, Ellen began working as a personal trainer and became the manager of a personal training program in Cambridge, Mass.
Ellen plans to be a naturopathic physician specializing in family care and midwifery. She also plans to help patients as a certified Reiki practitioner.
Ellen strongly believes in the body's innate abilities and about empowering patients through education.
