Jacob Wolf, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2013
Jacob is a fourth-year student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Ariz. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in biobehavorial health. Jacob has been working as an EMT since 2005 and spent a year in Israel volunteering with Magen David Adom, the Israeli ambulance corps, and teaching English to middle school and high school students. He has been very active with Naturopaths Without Borders since starting ND school and has gone on several SCNM-sponsored trips to work at the free naturopathic clinic across the border in Mexico.
Before enrolling at SCNM, Jacob worked in the outdoor adventure field, teaching kids and adults fun and challenging ways to explore the world around them. He also worked for the National Board of Medical Examiners writing questions for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
Jacob has had a lifelong passion for helping others and is considering a focus in pediatrics when he graduates in 2013.
