La Deana Jeane, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2011
La Deana Jeane is a fourth-year ND student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Ariz., graduating in December 2011.
During her time at SCNM, La Deana has been actively involved in conducting naturopathic research. She is very interested in the progression of naturopathic medicine and providing health care to underserved communities.
La Deana has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Denver. After graduation, La Deana worked as a biological consultant in remote locations, such as the Bering Sea and the Mojave Desert.
These formative years spent establishing a connection with our environment is what ultimately drove La Deana to become a Naturopathic Physician.
