Nina Manipon, Naturopathic Medical Student, SCNM
Nina Manipon is a 2nd-year student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Phoenix, AZ.
She is originally from Somerset, NJ, and graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations with a minor in Sociology. Having a Political Science background has helped her advocate for the licensure of naturopathic medicine as well as a Public Relations Co-Chair of the Naturopathic Advocacy and Community Awareness Team (N-ACT).
Previously she worked in the Information Technology and Services arena and continues to focus on business development and training. Pursuing a naturopathic degree is important to Nina because she feels that it is important to empower patients though education, disease prevention, and treating the whole person.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and volunteering.
