Safiya McCarter, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2010
Safiya McCarter is in her final year of studying naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University, where she also serves as a peer advisor in the admissions department. She moved to Seattle, Wash., from Georgia, where she attended Clark Atlanta University and taught in the Atlanta public school system. Being interested in women's health and pediatrics, Safiya intends to focus on these two populations in her future practice as a naturopathic physician.
