Toni Varela, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2011
Toni Varela is a 3rd-year student at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences (SCNM) in Tempe, Ariz. Prior to attending SCNM, Toni received her BA in psychology and cultural anthropology, with a concentration in neuroscience and public health, from the University of California, Los Angeles. She has a special interest in women’s health and depuration techniques.
Toni is currently involved in several campus groups, including Imhotep Circle, the Student Advancement Team and the SGA Student Advancement Committee, with the purpose of bringing awareness of naturopathic medicine to the community.
