Veronic Provencher, Naturopathic Medical Student, Class of 2011

Veronic Provencher is a fourth-year student at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM). Veronic has a bachelor's degree in microbiology and a master's degree in medical microbiology and immunology with a specialization in virology. She worked in the nutraceutical industry as a scientific advisor for a year and a half and then worked as a laboratory technician at the University of Alberta.

At Boucher Institute, she manages the schools bookstore, aids in the interview process for incoming students, is the school's Avicenna representative and has been a teacher's assistant for the biomedicine course for first- and second-year students. She keeps her school life balanced by meditating, playing volleyball and picking up her violin from time to time.

Veronic looks forward to starting her career as a naturopathic physician and bringing more awareness to the profession.
