Robert Dame, director of student financial aidRobert Dame has been in employed in higher education positions throughout his working career. He graduated from Concordia Teachers College (now Concordia University Chicago) with a BA in education and was hired by the college to work in the admissions and housing offices. 

While completing his MA in education from Concordia, he became director of housing. After completing his degree he was employed at the Illinois College of Optometry, where he began his financial aid career and established the financial aid program at the college.

He first served as assistant director, and then for 24 years as director of financial aid at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. During this time he obtained an MBA degree from Dominican University.

In 2008 he became director of financial aid at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Ill. He and his wife, Christine, reside in Oak Park, Ill., and have two children and a 13-month-old grandson.
